Waiver Wire Watch List: Week 7

Quarterback: I wrote about him early in this season, but if you are still in need of a quarterback pick up Andy Dalton off of the waiver wire, if he is still available. Dalton has been a really good fantasy quarterback this year. This coming week he is playing the Kansas City Chiefs, who has the second worst pass defense, and then follows them up with the worst pass defense in the Bucs. I fully believe he will explode in these next two games. Based off his opponents in the coming weeks and his performance this season, Dalton should be rostered in all leagues from now until the end of the season.

Running Back: Colts running back Marlon Mack is back, healthy, and easily their best option in the running game. In his first game back since week two, Mack had 12 rushes for 89 yards. I expect Mack to continue to get an increase in carries for the Colts, and become their main back for the rest of the season, as long as he is healthy.

Wide Receiver: Bucs receiver Chris Godwin, has flown under the radar, but is sneakily putting together a solid, consistent season. Through six weeks, Godwin has caught five touchdown passes. It seems like the Bucs trust Godwin down in the red zone, and there is a good chance Godwin continues to score, especially with their awful defense constantly putting them behind, or keeping the other team, in games.

Tight End: For all of those who struggle to roster a tight end who can even put up average numbers on a weekly basis, I would take a flier on Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah. Since taking over for the injured Tyler Eifert two weeks ago, he has totaled a solid 97 reception yards, and like Dalton, faces the Chiefs, and Bucs in the next two weeks. He has very good potential in the near future.
