Bankroll Builder Week 4:

Week 4 Musings:

Week 4 is our first week with byes, that will deplete the player pool a bit.  However, the Thursday night, Sunday Night, and Monday games take a way a lot of the usual suspects.  Last night we watched everyone (not named Dalvin Cook) explode.  The Sunday night game takes out the DFS darlings: Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith Schuster, and James Conner.  We lose the Chiefs and Broncos on Monday as well.  What this means, is some more off-the-wall suggestions and an opportunity to continue our winning ways from Week 3.

Here’s the plays I like:

Quarterback

Andy Dalton (7.4k) – Blessed with a match up against the Falcons porous defense.  Missing Joe Mixon I would expect them to re-enact the Saints game plan.  Attack them through the middle of the field with the RB out of the backfield and get the ball into their play-makers hands.  Tyler Boyd has made a leap forward and gives Dalton a 2nd wide receiver to throw to.

Also Consider: Matt Ryan (8.1k) Mitch Trubisky (6.8k), Deshaun Watson (7.6k), Phillip Rivers (7.8k)

Running Backs

download.jpgDavid Johnson (7.6k) – I refuse to believe that he has fallen off of this colossal ledge. His price is becoming severely depressed.  His coaches should be game planning to get him the ball any way they can.  He should not be influenced much by a negative game script.

Gio Bernard (6.4k) – RBs have combined for nearly 30 catches the last two weeks against the Falcons. Granted, they were Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara, I would look for a decent output from Gio this week as well.

Kenyan Drake (6.3k) – The Patriots don’t look like the old Patriots, which is good because Drake hasn’t looked like the old Drake as of yet. The Patriots are 31st against  the rush.  His price has dropped into the Marshawn Lynch, Isaiah Crowell range.

Other RBs to consider: Saquon Barkley (8.0k), Alvin Kamara (9.1k) last game without Ingram, Sony Michel(5.9k),

Wide Receivers

Jarvis Landry (7.0K) – Jarvis Landry is a human security blanket.  Look for Baker Mayfield to look his way a ton.  As a matter of fact, I give a notch uptick to all of the Browns receivers/tight ends now that Mayfield is at the helm.

Allen Robinson (6.5k)  – He struggled last week and still saw 7 targets. He doesn’t have to deal with any elite CBs this week and should deliver a solid return.

images.jpgOdell Beckham Jr.  (8.6K)– Beckham is averaging 10 targets a game.  The tilt against New Orleans should over an up-tempo game with plenty of offense.  Beckham offers a decent floor and an elite ceiling.

Other WR to consider:  Mike Evans (7.9k), Taylor Gabriel(5.0K more for GPPs), Tyler Boyd (5.8k likely very highly owned) , Kenny Golladay(5.8K),  DeAndre Hopkins (8.6K)

Tight Ends

Jimmy Graham (6.0K) – At a position nearly bereft of talent, I look for Graham to find the end zone for the first time this year. He is averaging 7.5 touches a week  over the last two weeks.  With Aaron Rodgers still struggling with mobility, look for the quick passing game to take over.  I still believe Buffalo is very bad and will be exposed this week.

Others to Consider: OJ Howard(5.6K), David NJoku(5.2K), Ricky Seals-Jones (5.3K)

Adding: Dallas Goedert

Defense

Philadelphia (4.6K) –  The Eagles are an opportunistic defense. Marcus Mariota can’t feel his hand. Look for the Eagles to roll and their defense to shine.

Others to Consider: Chargers(4.7K), Cardinals(4.0k),

Thanks for reading along, and good luck this week!
