Fantasy Roundtable: Who Is The ONE Player You Won’t Leave Your Draft Without?

Fantasy football draft season is upon us and the Purple Reign fantasy roundtable is here to answer the toughest questions heading into your draft. First up……who is the player that you want on all your teams this season. Enjoy!

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton

Everyone is looking for a player outside of the first round that can produce 1st round numbers. Well how about a guy who’s already done it before? Two years ago this dude was a top five fantasy receiver. With a healthy Andrew Luck back on the field there is no reason to think he can’t be that again.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon

I won’t leave many drafts without Joe Mixon. Cody Glenn and Billy Price are huge upgrades. He had a clearly defined role and will see vast improvement from his disappointing rookie campaign.

Patriots WR Chris Hogan

I’m definitely drafting Chris Hogan before my opponents. His injury problems last year seem to have wiped the memory of six touchdowns in five weeks. With Brandin Cooks gone and Julian Edelman suspended, he’ll deliver production significantly beyond what his ADP status would indicate.

Titans RB Derrick Henry

I’m not leaving my drat without RB Derrick Henry. Now that DeMarco Murray is gone, Henry is expected to get the majority of the carries in the Titans offense. Even with Dion Lewis signing with the Titans in the off-season, Lewis is more of a dynamic pass catching threat than a workhorse runner. Derrick Henry has an amazing physical skill-set, and has shown flashes of being a top running back, but he just hasn’t received the carries to reach his full potential. Expect that to change this year and for him to be a top fantasy running back.

Chargers WR Keenan Allen

I am not leaving my draft without WR Keenan Allen. Allen is primed for a nice season for the Chargers and I expect him to take full advantage of his opportunity. The Chargers have upgraded their offensive line with the addition of veteran center FA Mike Pouncey (Dolphins) and we all know Rivers loves to sling it. Now that Hunter Henry is done for the season, Allen is likely to absorb a share of his targets as well. History has also shown us that he loves to come around late, and that’s just when I will need him, in time for the playoffs.
