The Baltimore Ravens Select Mark Andrews With 86th Overall Pick In 2018 NFL Draft

Another tight end? I love it! After grabbing Hayden Hurst in the 1st round the Ravens double dip at the tight end with Oklahoma standout Mark Andrews.

22 touchdowns over three years at Oklahoma. A legit playmaker. The Ravens offense isn’t flashy. It’s not fun to watch. However, it is effective if it has a big pass catching tight end to help move the chains. Andrews fits that description perfectly. Want proof the Ravens feel the importance of the tight end position? In 2015 they took two (Maxx Williams and Nick Boyle) and did the same back in 2010 (Pitta and Dickson).

Depth Chart Update:

Nick Boyle and Maxx Williams will be back in 2018 but neither have proven to be reliable during their time in Baltimore. Boyle has been suspended several times and Maxx Williams is always hurt. With the additions of Hurst and Andrews these two will be potential training camp cuts if they can’t contribute on special teams.
